The Faculty of Health Sciences is currently accepting applications for a tenure-track position in the Physiotherapy Program within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in pediatric physiotherapy, but candidates with other areas of expertise will be considered.

Title of the position: Assistant Professor, Physiotherapy Program 

Duties: Teaching in the Master of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) Program; developing and maintaining an independent research program; supervision of graduate students in research; participating in the administrative activities of the Program, the School, the Faculty, and the University; and leadership in the profession.

Wage: The salary range for an Assistant Professor starts at $88,735.

Skills requirements:

  • Education: University degree in physiotherapy and eligibility for registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario; doctorate or equivalent in fields related to physiotherapy (e.g. rehabilitation, kinesiology, biomedical sciences).
  • Experience: Post-doctoral research experience or academic faculty experience; ability to develop and sustain an independent research program; ability to teach in French and to participate in program activities in both official languages (French and English); clinical experience in physiotherapy.

Please note, the Physiotherapy program is delivered exclusively in French.
