Hiring salary range
$83,114-$114,279

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the assistant dean, internationalization, manages the Faculty of Medicine Office of Internationalization (OI) and oversees OI international partnerships in collaboration with stakeholders. Aligns human, financial and material resources with Faculty objectives and acts as the main adviser to the assistant dean, internationalization, on operational issues.

Essential Qualifications

Knowledge of management and administration normally acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience
Seven years of progressive management and leadership experience in all aspects of human resources management, project planning and operations management
Training and experience in project management, including work plans, critical paths, milestones, risk assessment, detailed analysis and reporting
Knowledge and experience in financial management, including forecasting, reporting and analysis
Demonstrated cultural awareness
Experience in writing, interpreting and applying policies and procedures
Knowledge and experience regarding collaboration with senior medical education staff, locally, provincially, nationally and internationally (an asset)
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with diverse audiences at all levels of leadership
Experience in using computer systems and applications such as MS Office suite, in online research and with University applications such as FAST (or other financial applications) and Halogen
International experience (an asset)
Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate meetings and international travel
Bilingualism ó French and English (spoken and written) (Mandarin an asset)

Contract of approximately 24 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits will be determined upon hiring. This position is excluded from all union accreditation units.
