Salary (Grade: NC7)

Hiring salary range
$66,735-$84,300

Position Purpose

Coordinates and facilitates effective program delivery of the Ontario Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (PHC-NP) program within the graduate program at the School of Nursing by providing on-site supervision of all operations related to Ontario PHC-NP consortium education. Acts as the communication liaison between the Office of the Director of the School of Nursing and support staff, students and consortium partners. Identifies and communicates issues of concern to the Director of the School of Nursing.

Essential Qualifications

Strong knowledge of the PHC-NP program and the role of nurse practitioners within Ontarioís healthcare system
Knowledge and experience in administration, normally acquired through 3-to-5 years spent in an administrative function or equivalent
Undergraduate degree in nursing or other field relevant to the position
Excellent computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability to initiate plans, coordinate projects and set short-to-medium term goals
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities with minimal supervision
Strong leadership, decision-making and problem solving skills
Tact, professionalism and proven ability to build and sustain productive relationships
Bilingualism: fluent in both English and French

Other competencies:

Masterís in Nursing is considered an asset
Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is considered an asset
RN with Extended class registration with CNO is considered an asset
